Susi Merhar, and Chair Jesse Cupp.  
3. APPROVE MINUTES  
The minutes for the September 13, 2023, and October 11, 2023, meetings have been delivered to Committee members  
and copies posted on the City Hall bulletin board. If there are no corrections or additions, a motion is in order to  
approve these minutes.

4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC  
This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not  
on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Committee from acting on  
non-agenda items.  
5. UPCOMING AGENDA TOPICS  
This portion of the agenda is reserved for the identification of agenda items for future meetings.  
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS  
6.1 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PUBLIC ART PROJECT UPDATES  
Staff will provide updates on Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center (Project 18-38), Transit Center Grade  
Separation and Access Project (Project 21-35), and Villa-Chiquita Park and Sylvan Park (Project 21-61 &  
21-46).

Attachments:  
Ad Hoc Committee on the public art strategy will provide an update on activities they have been  
discussing along with City staff providing an update on the public engagement that occurred in  
September 2023.

Visual Arts Committee (VAC) to finalize recommendation for art approval to City Council. City staff to  
share feedback from both the Youth and Senior Advisory Committees on the two mural designs the VAC  
selected by Artist Fernanda Martinez and Harumo Sato.

Visual Arts Committee to select artist or artists for recommendation to City Council for Evelyn Park public  
art. VAC will discuss jurying of the art submissions.  
7. NEW BUSINESS

As required by City Council Policy K-2, the Visual Arts Committee will discuss and adopt a schedule of  
meetings for the 2024 calendar year.  
7.2 EL CAMINO BELL INTERVENTION CONCEPT ART PROPOSAL  
Committee to hear from local resident, Naya Chang, about a grant application for a possible Art project in  
Mountain View.  
8. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS  
No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Committee at this time.
