The committee continued planning Teen Week (March 17-21, 2025), finalizing the event schedule. Members
will join subcommittees in future meetings to further develop event details and marketing strategies for each
of the events.
Mountain View Pride Event Ideas
Committee members provided city staff with ideas to incorporate into planning the city's inaugural Pride event
in June 2025. Ideas included Drag performers, a button-making station, a community-created mural, cookie
or cupcake decorating, and involving teen and school clubs and organizations.
Youth Advisory Committee Social Recap
Committee members who attended the November 2nd YAC Social provided feedback on the event. While
they enjoyed the opportunity to connect with other youth leaders, they expressed a desire for more time to
network and build relationships. Additionally, they suggested holding the social earlier in the year to allow
more time to apply the skills learned throughout the year.

COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS
Recreation Coordinator, Lauren Eck, shared the details of the Teen Center 10th Anniversary Celebration with
committee members. Committee members are encouraged to attend the event on Friday, Nov. 15 from 6-8
p.m. at The View Teen Center.

Vice Chair Chan adjourned the meeting at 5:52 p.m.
