VIce Chair Luna called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m.

Santa Clara County Youth Networking Event  
5.1  
Committee Member, Kavya, shared information on a Santa Clara County Youth Networking Event. The  
event will be held on Sunday, March 30 from 1-4 p.m. at a location TBA. Kavya encouraged YAC members  
to attend to represent the Mountain View voice.

NEW BUSINESS  
Teen CERT Presentation  
6.1  
Representatives from the Teen CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) presented their  
upcoming Teen CERT Academy from March 14-16 which educates teens about disaster response. They  
asked YAC members to spread the word about the opportunity and encouraged them to sign up to attend.  
School Resource Officer Discussion  
6.2  
Committee members and Mountain View Police Department School Resource Officers discussed issues  
related to Mountain View teens and learned about the roles and responsibilities of School Resource  
Officers. Discussion topics included vaping, mental health, and programs available to teens through the  
PAL program.  
Subcommittee Updates

Committee members met for 25 minutes in their Subcommittees. Each subcommittee provided  
an update on their work.  
Teen Week  
Committee members met for 25 minutes in their Teen Week Subcommittees. Each subcommittee  
provided an update on their work.

VIce Chair Luna adjourned the meeting at 6:01 p.m.
