COMMITTEE/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
The Performing Arts Committee discussed potentially requesting a reading of the new "Arts, Culture, &
Creativity Month" proclamation during the upcoming Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts Center
35th Anniversary Event in summer of 2026.
The SecondStage Vitality Program ad hoc committee gave a brief update of the process for finalizing the
project, and presenting the new program to the committee in an upcoming meeting.
Staff gave a brief update that an applicant has been recommended for appointment and to fill the last
standing vacancy in the Performing Arts Committee. The recommended applicant will be sworn in during the
December 16, 2025 City Council meeting.

Speakers are allowed to speak once on any number of topics for up to three minutes. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on
nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per
speaker unless there is an objection from the Committee by majority vote.
