Recommendation:  
Approve the Senior Advisory Committee Meeting minutes of May 17, 2023.

This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not  
on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Committee from acting on  
non-agenda items.  
5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS  
Senior Survey Subcommittee  
5.1  
Recommendation:  
Receive an update of the work being done by the Senior Survey Subcommittee.  
Work Plan Update  
5.2  
Recommendation:  
Committee members will share current updates on Work Plan Items.  
Santa Clara County Senior Care Commission Update  
5.3  
Recommendation:  
Vice Chair Tymes will provide an update on the work being done by Santa Clara  
County Senior Care Commission.  
Sourcewise Advisory Council Update

Recommendation:  
Committee member Gilfix will provide an update on the work being done by the  
Sourcewise Advisory Council.  
Work Plan Development for FY 2023-24

Recommendation:  
Senior Advisory Committee will begin development of the FY 2023-24 work plan.  
6. NEW BUSINESS  
Brown Act Discussion and Public City Sponsored Events  
6.1  
Recommendation:  
Staff will provide updates.  
7. COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMITTEE REPORTS  
No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Committee at this time.  
Senior Center Update  
7.1  
Recommendation:  
Staff will provide a brief summary of Senior Center programming and comment cards  
received during the month of June.  
Committee Roundtable  
7.2  
Recommendation:  
No action will be taken on any questions raised by the SAC at this time. Approval by  
the SAC to agendize for future meetings can be reached by a majority vote.  
8. ADJOURNMENT

The specific location of each meeting is noted on the agenda for each meeting which is posted at least 24 hours in advance of the  
meeting.

ADDRESSING THE COMMITTEE  
Interested persons are entitled to speak on any item on the agenda and should make their interest known to the Chair.  
Anyone wishing to address the Committee on a nonagenda item may do so during the "Oral Communications" part of the agenda.  
Speakers are allowed to speak once on any number of topics for up to three minutes.
