recommendation

Staff recommends the Council Sustainability Committee:

 

1. Review and provide feedback on the draft Climate Vulnerability Assessment;

 

2. Recommend that the City Council direct staff to develop a 2045 Climate Strategy that integrates decarbonization and resiliency and includes a five-year climate roadmap; and

 

3. Recommend City Council approve an amendment to the agreement with Cascadia Consulting Group for $148,240 to include additional decarbonization and resiliency analysis, resiliency planning, and an integrated 2045 Climate Strategy, resulting in a total not-to-exceed amount of $371,245.
