Conceptual Design for a Citywide Fiber Network

Recommended Action

1.                     Receive a report on the Conceptual Design for a Citywide Fiber Network.

2.                     Adopt Phase 1a of the report and direct staff to return to Council during the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget process for project funding, and direct staff to establish a Technology Upgrade Reserve for future implementation of Phase 1b and other strategic technology investments as budget permits.
