All-Inclusive Magical Bridge Playground, Project 18-36-Approve Conceptual Plan and Other Actions
Recommended Action
1. Approve the Parks and Recreation Commission’s recommended conceptual plan for All-Inclusive Magical Bridge Playground, Project 18-36.
2. Adopt a Resolution of the City of Mountain View Approving Applications for the Two Per Capita Grant Funds through the State of California Proposition 68 Program in the Amount of $228,911, by which the City Agrees to the Terms of the Grant Agreement and Confirms that the City Has the Funding to Complete, Operate, and Maintain the All-Inclusive Playground Project, to be read in title only, further reading waived (Attachment 1 to the Council report).
3. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute all documents and agreements, and take all necessary action necessary related to the acceptance of grant funding.
4. Appropriate and transfer $451,100 from the Park Land Dedication Fund to the All-Inclusive Magical Bridge Playground, Project 18-36, increasing the total funding from the Park Land Dedication Fund from $1,375,000 to $1,826,100. (Five votes required)
